Obituary of June W Erickson
June Erickson, 92, of 226 Brook St. Titusville, passed away Saturday evening December 23, 2017 at her residence.
June was born on June 24, 1925 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Sheldon and Coila Apthorp Morgan. She was married to Raymond J. Erickson on May 18, 1957 at St. James Memorial Episcopal Church in Titusville. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1986.
She was a graduate of Colestock High School.
June was a member of St. James Memorial Episcopal Church where she served on the altar guild and a member of the church choir for over 60 years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, doing word puzzles, and coloring. She enjoyed most spending time with her grandchildren.
June is survived by three daughters; Sharon Erickson, Karen Erickson, and Holly Sellen, all of Titusville; three grandchildren, Joseph Jackson, Jesse Sellen and wife Carrie, and Kaitlyn Sellen; a great grandson, Eric Jackson; and a brother, Robert Morgan of Titusville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Raymond A. Jackson; and a brother, William Morgan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday December 28th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Memorial Episcopal Church, 112 E. Main St. Titusville, PA. The funeral service will be conducted there at 11:00 AM with Rev. Canon Martha Ishman officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
