Obituary of Francis Paul Johnson

Mr. Francis Paul “Frank” Johnson, 84, of 118 E. Walnut St., Titusville passed away at 10:45 AM on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at his residence.

            Mr. Johnson was born on September 22, 1933, in New York, New York a son of the late Francis and Anna Dombrowsky Johnson.  He married Helen Jensen on July 23, 1955 in Manhattan, NY. Mrs. Johnson preceded him in death on July 21, 2013.

            He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy in New York City. He attended City College of New York and New York University and then pursued a career in Accounting.

            Frank worked for several large companies in the New York City area before being the Executive Vice President of Electralloy in Oil City, PA from 1968 to 1982. He was the founder and President of Centerville Castings, Inc. and later Therma-Fab, Inc. from 1982 until his retirement in 2011.

            He was a member of St. Titus Church, ASM International, and B.P.O. Elks #264 in Titusville.

            In his retirement, Frank enjoyed investing in the Stock Market, cooking, and gardening.

            He is survived by a daughter, Regina Marulli and husband Daniel of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son, Francis Johnson of Clifton Park, NY; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa Grace Marulli of New York City, Daniel Francis Marulli of Lake Worth, FL his fiancé, Eligia; and a sister, Mary Anne Murray and husband John of Woodhaven, NY.

            Friends may call at the Hennes-Garrett Funeral Home 203 E. Main St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Monday, January 8th  from 6 to 8 PM.

            Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Oil City following a private mass.
