Obituary of Deloris Jean McClintock
Mrs. Deloris “Jean” McClintock, 69, of 157 Lamey Rd., Titusville died at 4:34 am on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. McClintock was born on September 15, 1941 in Cochranton to the late Jack and Dorothy Vogus Feely. She married Guy C. “Kip” McClintock on May 5, 1962 in Cherrytree. Mr. McClintock died on June 15, 1998.
She was a graduate of Colestock High School, class of 1960.
Mrs. McClintock had been employed for 21years at Northwest Medical Center (UPMC Northwest) in the operating room until her retirement.
She had attended Oakland United Methodist Church.
Mrs. McClintock enjoyed traveling, watching dirt track racing, NASCAR and was an avid Steelers fan. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Kim Birchard and husband Bill of Cooperstown, Gary McClintock, Jeff McClintock and wife Heather, all of Titusville; five grandchildren, Zachary and Justin McClintock, and triplets McKayla, Megan, and Morgan Birchard; one brother, Don Feely and companion Michelle Huff of Titusville; a special aunt whom she considered as a sister, Carolyn Beck of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Karen Feely of Titusville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. McClintock was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond Feely, James Feely and two brothers who died in infancy Jack LeRoy Feely and Robert Feely.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Further visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am with Mrs. Sue Evans, Hospice Chaplain of the VNA of Venango County, officiating.
Interment will be in Cherrytree Cemetery.
