Obituary of Carole Sue Earnest

Carole Sue Earnest of Flagstaff, AZ, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Flagstaff.

            Carole was born in Titusville on Jan. 17, 1947 to Norma Weldon and Joseph Thomas Berry. 

            She is survived by her two brothers, Thomas Berry and Vance Weldon; three children, Robert Earnest of Titusville, Leianda Lizarraga of Denver, CO, and Yuri Weagraff of Flagstaff, AZ; a step-daughter, Bethany Pederson of Florida and her life partner of 22 years Sergio Bencomo; six grandchildren, Jade Earnest, J.J. Lizarraga, Alexandra Showers, Bradley Lizarraga, Anthony Showers, and Kayla Mateer; and a great grandson, Brandon Stevens.

            Carole relocated to Flagstaff, AZ in 1985 where she persued her love of nature by opening “Adventure in Plants and Nature’s Rewards”.  It was her greatest joy to bring beauty to the Flagstaff area with her amazing landscape designs.

            “To love someone is to give them enough room to grow” was her philosophy in life and nature and how she will always be remembered.

            Interment was private in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
