Obituary of Jason Paul Jones
Jason Paul Jones, 40, of Titusville passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
Jason was born on June 10, 1977, in Austintown, OH to Rodney E. and Deborah Dougherty Jones.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1996, and Triangle Tech in Erie with an Associate’s Degree in computer aided drafting (CAD).
Jason was formerly employed with GE in Erie and most recently at Modern Industries also of Erie.
He was a former member of St. Titus Church.
Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking and collecting antiques. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and rooted for Kevin Harvick while watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his parents of Titusville; a daughter, Brianna Jones of Titusville; his grandmother, Evelyn Dougherty of Titusville; a brother, Rodney David Jones and wife Linda of Titusville; a sister, Shannon Buzard and husband Daniel of Oil City; 5 nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Granda and husband Kale of Dempseytown, Alyssa Drusko of Titusville, Matthew Jones of Titusville, Jasmyn and Brayden Buzard of Oil City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason was preceded in death by his 2 year old son, Blake Aaron Jones; a brother, Matthew Joseph Jones; paternal grandparents, Emmitt and Elsie Jones; and maternal grandfather, Paul Dougherty.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Sunday at 12:30 PM with Fr. Walter E. Packard, pastor of St. Titus Church, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Catharine’s Cemetery.
