Obituary of Robert M. Krepp

Mr. Robert M. Krepp, Sr., 90, of Titusville, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Franklin on January 29, 1928 to the late Meade Reynolds and Nina Grace Seamens Krepp.

Robert graduated from Rocky Grove High School.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and United States Air Force.  Having entered on October 1, 1946 in Pittsburgh and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal on June 24, 1949 in Camp Stoneman, CA.  He served overseas in Japan during WWII.  

Robert married Karen Slayton on July 10, 1995 in Jacksonville, FL.

He previously worked for Mick Electric Company, and for Asplundh Expert Tree Company for fifteen years.

Robert was a member of the Bruce Shorts VFW Post 5958 and the Cleo J. Ross American Legion Post 368.

He enjoyed hunting, and fishing in Florida, bowling, softball, golf, and wood working.

Robert is survived by his wife Karen of Titusville; three daughters, Deborah Jarzynka of Franklin, Barbara A. Weller and companion Robert Clark of Strattanville, and Sandy Kysor and husband John of Centerville; three sons, Robert M. Krepp, Jr. and wife Marjorie of Jacksonville, FL, Joseph R. “Mickey” Krepp of Franklin, and Joe Kozaczki of Titusville; step-daughter, Bernice Simpkins of Greenville; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Krepp and wife Dorothy, and William Krepp both of Franklin;  a sister in law, Carol Krepp of Clovis, CA; and beloved caretaker Jeanne Perry.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nina “Sis” Rodgers; and a brother, Paul Krepp.

Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM, and Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM, at which time the funeral service will be held with Pastor William Hopkins officiating.

Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery with full military rights observed.
