Obituary of Sharon L. Nichols

Mrs. Sharon L. Nichols, 75, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 5:45 AM at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Sharon was born on January 2, 1943 in Titusville to the late William E. and Leola M. Sterling Daum. She married Thomas L. Nichols on September 17, 1960 in Pleasantville. He preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage on November 20, 2015.

She attended Titusville schools, and worked at GTE Sylvania and Pitt Titusville.

Sharon enjoyed painting, gardening, quilting, horseback riding, cooking, and being with family and friends. She was also considered a master seamstress.

She was a member Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Sharon is survived by three daughters, Cindy L. Turner and husband Greg of Littleton, CO, Rebecca Larsen and Traci Speer both of Titusville; 6 grandchildren, Alexis Turner of Denver, CO, Monica Turner of Englewood, CO, Nicholas Larsen and wife Melissa of Bowling Green, KY, Kevin Larsen of Marietta, PA, Danielle Speer and fiancé John Faber of Strabane, PA, and Dalton Speer Titusville; 2 great grandchildren, Claire and Aria Larsen of Bowling Green, KY; one sister Marilyn Antill and husband George of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son Thomas William Nichols.

No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
