Obituary of Jeffrey Scott Baney

            Mr. Jeffrey Scott Baney, 56, of Tomer Rd., Guys Mills passed away at 3:46 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Meadville Medical Center.

            Mr. Baney was born on March 14, 1962, in Titusville to the late Ronald F. and Marie M. Armstrong Baney. He married Tina Rose Foulk on January 30, 1982 in Townville.

            He was a graduate of Maplewood High School, class of 1980. He also attended vo-tech and earned a certificate for automobile inspection licensing.

            Jeff was employed for many years as an auto body repairman and mechanic with Tim Kirkpatrick Auto in Meadville.  In his earlier days he worked as a farmhand for Troyer Farms in Townville and would dj social functions by the name of Yesterdaze.

            Over the years Jeff and his family attended New Richmond United Methodist Church, Pine Grove United Methodist, and most recently was going to the Lyona Bible Church. 

            He enjoyed deer hunting, fixing cars, carpentry, grilling outdoors, and taking care of and spending time with his family and friends.

            Jeff is survived by his wife Tina Baney of Guys Mills; 2 daughters, Angela Baney of Guys Mills, Brandi Baney a student at Slippery Rock University; a niece, Stacey Ongley of Saegertown; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

            He was preceded in death by a son Jason Scott Baney who died in infancy; and 3 sisters, Rhonda Baney who died when she was a toddler, Tresa Stephens, and Jeri Ongley.

            Friends will be received at the Lyona Bible Church 28825 Lyona Rd., Guys Mills, PA 16327 on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with a memorial service to follow conducted by Bob Bennett and Pastor Michael Fraser.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyona Bible Church.
