Obituary of Erma Fay Bean

               Erma Fay Bean, 90, of Titusville, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

               She was born in Southwest Township, Warren County, on December 16, 1927 to the late Floyd and Mable Wright Cheney.

               Erma graduated from Colestock High School in Titusville.

               She married Maurice M. Bean on December 23, 1948 in Ripley, NY.  He preceded her in death on March 8, 1986.

               Erma had previously worked at Warner’s Bakery.

               She was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church.

               Erma enjoyed feeding and watching the birds.  She also enjoyed reading, Scrabble, cross word puzzles, going for rides in the country, and spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren.

               She is survived by two daughters, Linda Wingard of Warren and Kathleen LaCaze of Warren; two sons, Randall Bean and wife Candace of Titusville, and Dennis Bean and wife Joanne of Pleasantville; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Sutley and husband Brian of Titusville, Matthew Bean of North Carolina, Dustin Bean and wife Leanne of Erie, Christopher Bean and fiancé Katy Kelly of Evans City, Melissa Bedow of Grand Valley, Edward Bedow, Jr. of Grand Valley, Stacy LaCaze of Warren, Kathy Jo Parrish and husband Gary of Plato, MO, Jill Buceta and husband Fonz of Wilks Barre, PA, Jennifer Hemminger and husband Gary of Pittsburgh, Joy Kelly and husband Kraig of Venango, and Janae Bulkley of Titusville; sixteen great grandchildren, Isabella and Lillian Sutley, Chloe Bean, Annalee Bean, Kalista Bean and Brianna, Hunter Crabtree and Tyler Drake, Charles and Alex Heath, Gary Jo and Rylan Parrish, Riley and Dylan Buceta, Kieron Kelly, and Willem; and a sister, Lucille Cherry of Titusville.

               Erma was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Herbert Cheney.

               Friends and family may call at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 10 AM to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be conducted. 

               Interment will be in Mt. Collins Cemetery.
