Obituary of Donna Fay Young

Mrs. Donna Fay Young, 81, of Ghering Road, Titusville, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her residence.

               She was born in Titusville on February 24, 1937 to the late Donald and Millicent Kaster Ghering.

               Donna graduated from Harbor Creek High School.

               She married Dennis Young on October 16, 1954 in Diamond.

               Donna worked at Sylvania in Pleasantville, Visco in Meadville, and helped Dennis operate Young’s Ceramic Tile in Meadville.

               She was a member of the former Wallaceville United Methodist Church.

               Donna enjoyed square dancing and rollerskating.  She was an animal lover, and liked to hunt.

               She is survived by her husband, Dennis of Titusville; a daughter, Debra Beckwith and husband Robert of Swanton, OH; a grandson, Kyle Beckwith of Swanton, OH; a sister, Peg Russell and husband Merlin of Erie; and a brother, Cliff Ghering and wife Elsie of Oil City.

               She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Exley, and a brother, William Ghering.

               Friends and family may attend a funeral service at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 3 PM with Pastor Matthew Blake officiating.

               Interment will be in Sunville Cemetery.
