Obituary of Phyllis P Spangler

               Phyllis Patricia Spangler, 85, formerly of Titusville, passed away Monday June 4, 2018 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.

            Phyllis was born on February 20, 1933 in Pleasantville, PA, a daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Saxton Spangler. 

            She attended Pleasantville High School, but graduated from Trinity High School in Clearwater, FL.  Phyllis then graduated from Toccoa Institute in Toccoa Falls, GA in the area of music and art. 

            She retired from Sears in Salisbury, MD.

            Phyllis was a member of the Pleasantville Community Church.  She enjoyed playing accordion, guitar, piano, and organ.  She also enjoyed traveling, reading and bird watching.

            Phyllis was the last of her immediate family.  She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and William Spangler; and a sister, Frances Crowther.

            Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10 AM at Jerusalem Corners Cemetery with Rev. Mark Rusnak, Asera Care Hospice chaplan, officiating.
