Obituary of Martha L. Brown

Martha L. Brown, 86, of Titusville, passed away Thursday morning June 14, 2018 at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

            Martha was born on Feb. 12, 1932 at Gresham, PA, a daughter of the late Harry A. and Gertrude Johnson Fenstermaker.  She was married to Robert D. Brown on Aug. 5, 1955 at Gresham.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1984.

            Martha was a graduate of Colestock High School.  She had been employed as an LPN and also as a private duty nurse.

            She is survived by three children; Susan Kuberry and husband Frank of Titusville, Beverly Ellis of Bradford, and Charles Brown and wife Hazel of Titusville; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Brown of Oil City; ten grandchildren, Michael Kuberry and wife Linnea of Golden, CO, Morgan Kuberry and wife Rachel of Woburn, MA, Alex Kuberry and fiancée Maria Tomlinson, stationed with the US Air Force in England, Sasha Ellis of Warren, Tristan Ellis of Huntingdon, Ariah Ellis, Kieran Ellis and Zara Ellis, all of Bradford, and Sarah Brown and Rachel Brown of Titusville; four great grandchildren, Emmett and Gwen Kuberry of Golden, CO, and Ruby and Eli Kuberry of Woburn, MA; two sisters, Ethel Doutt of Titusville, and Ellen Fill and husband Richard of Titusville; three sisters-in-law, Carol Fenstermaker, Inge Fenstermaker and Margaret Fenstermaker, all of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Brown; a son-in-law, Arvin Ellis; six brothers, LeRoy, Hugh, Lawrence, Donald, Harry, and William Fenstermaker;  three sisters, Eleanor Patterson, Edna Boyer, and Gertrude Emma Fenstermaker; brothers-in-law, Neil Doutt, Walter Sanden, Charles Patterson, and Joe Boyer; and sisters-in-law, Betty, Viola, and Martha Fenstermaker.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday, June 18th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at which time a celebration of her life will begin.

            Interment will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery.
