Obituary of Anita Lamb Popieski

              Mrs. Anita Lamb Popieski of 136 W. Bloss St. Titusville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 4:30 AM with her family by her side.

               Mrs. Popieski was born on June 8, 1941 to the late William “Bill” and Winifred “Ruth” Brown Lamb. She married the late Richard “Rich” Popieski on June 11, 1983 at the Tryonville Methodist Church.

               She was a member of the Titusville First United Methodist Church.

               She attended Titusville schools and in 1979 went back and received her diploma.

               Mrs. Popieski worked at Buyer’s Fair and Riverside Markets until she retired to take care of her husband.

               She is survived by her children, Tammy Crowther and husband Joe of Titusville, Harley Mark Wagner of Pleasantville, and a daughter in law Christal Wagner of Titusville; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Yoder and husband Aaron of Titusville, Micah Martin of Meadville, David Martin of Oil City, Harley, Dustin, and Kyle Wagner all of Titusville, Lacey Wagner of Ohio, and Candy Wagner of Meadville; ten great grandchildren, Haley Manross, Peyton and Addyson Yoder, and Hade Adrian, Brody, Kylie, Bailey and Alexis Martin all of Titusville; six step grandchildren and one great step grandchild.

               Anita also had many close friends, among them were Jean and Ken Spence, Pastor Larry Reitz, Kim and Jeff Ottney, Dee Hays, Jim and Karen Smith, Donna and Bill Greenlee, Marsha Eddy, Betty Rainey, Barbara Durham, Thelma and Bill Blood, and Lee and Marjorie Baker, and many more who prayed for her.

               In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her oldest son William “Billy” Wagner; a sister Shirley Peterson, a twin brother who died at birth; and a step grandson, Joey Crowther.

               Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and a attend a funeral service on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11 AM at the Titusville First United Methodist Church, 302 Walnut Street, Titusville, PA 16354 with Pastor Larry Reitz officiating.

               Interment will be in St. Catharines Cemetery.
