Obituary of Edna S Crissman
Mrs. Edna S. Crissman, 96, of 322 S. Martin St. Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:40 AM.
Edna was born on March 7, 1922 in Pittsburgh, to the late Herbert and Emily Switzer Schultz. She married Robert Crissman on July 3, 1942 in Pittsburgh. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1988.
She was a graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh and The University of Pittsburgh.
Edna was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She was a homemaker and volunteered at theAmerican Red Cross, Titusville Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, and at the Titusville Area Hospital. She also enjoyed cross stitching and knitting.
Edna is survived by her three children, Betsy Irwin of Cooperstown, Thomas Crissman and wife Shelly of Copley, OH, and Susan Geralds and husband Rick of West Bloomfield, MI; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Wise and Frankie Neidhardt.
No public calling hours will be observed.
Inurnment will be at Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
