Obituary of Richard L Rodgers
Mr. Richard L. Rodgers, 72, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Titusville on October 13, 1945 to the late Ralph and Georgia Hartman Rodgers.
Richard married Nancy Wright on April 24, 1965.
He was self-employed in the logging industry.
Richard enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Nancy Rodgers of Centerville; four children, Lisa Rose and husband Tony of Titusville, Jen Wright and husband Bill of Grand Valley, Richard Rodgers, and Darrell Rodgers both of Titusville; fourteen grandchildren, Tony Rose and Jessie, Tyler Rose and Amanda, Katrina Ringer and Jon, Kaylan Wright, Kristen Wright, Krachelle Wright, Bill Wright, Ricky Rodgers, Alisha Geiger, Samantha Rodgers Allen, Derek Rodgers, Ellen Martone, Cory Rodgers, and Darrell Rodgers; seventeen great grandchildren; three sisters, Karen Renninger of Titusville, Carol Bromley and husband Bill of Titusville, and Miranda Brooks and husband Paul of Athens, OH; and two brothers, Bill Rodgers of Titusville, and Ronald “Bus” Rodgers and wife Mary of Monett, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan James Rose; two sisters, Donna Shepard and Eileen Crowther; and four brothers, Warren, Wayne, Charles, and Jack Rodgers.
