Obituary of Anne G Armstrong

Mrs. Anne G. Armstrong, 86, formerly of LeBoeuf Trail Rd. Titusville, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 5:13 AM at Oakwood Heights Nursing Home in Oil City.

Anne was born on August 3, 1932 in Titusville to the late James and Mancie Armstrong Gray. She married Albert E. Armstrong on November 17, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1999.

She attended Titusville schools and was a graduate of Colestock High School, class of 1950.

Anne was a homemaker and worked as a dispatcher for Trans Penn, also at Cross Creek Resort in the food preparation department, and at Porter’s Ice Cream.

She was a member of Homemakers in Chapmanville, and enjoyed taking care of her household, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.

Anne is survived by her son Keith E. Armstrong and wife Teresa of Pleasantville; two daughters, Kay Crawford of Townville, and Deborah Kennedy and companion Leige Lindsay of Meadville; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; two sisters Alice Murray and Madeline Patterson both of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Anne was preceded in death by two sons’ in-law Mike Crawford and Bruce Kennedy and a sister Doris Brown.

Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 11 AM to Noon at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Glen Van Cise, pastor of the Chapmanville Community Church officiating.

Interment will be at Chapmanville Cemetery.
