Condolences
Just returned to the states and saw the sad news in the Hearld. Gene was a talented and memorable person. I can here his laugh when I think of him kidding my father. The world lost a good man.
Sorry for your loss,
Your Father was like a father to me when I was a kid.I lived just down the street and he taught me alot.I helped him build planes, car and even a little helicopter.I spent alot time flying with him.I cherish those memories we shared.May he rest in peace!!
Sincerely John Barrett
When I was 4 years old, I was watching my Dad, Dick Burt painting some window trim. When he was not looking, I grabbed the brush and started to paint my pedal car. I told my Dad that I was just painting my car like Uncle Gene did to his car.
So so sorry for all of our loss, but especially for all of you in his immediate family. My condolences to all of you. You are all in my prayers. Uncle Gene will always have a special place in my heart.❤
Dear Cora, Darrin, and Travisty - our prayers and deepest sympathy are with you all. Gene was a wonderful husband, terrific father and best friend to Darrin, and an absolute awesome father-in-law to Travisty. You couldn't have wished for a nicer man. We are both here for you all. Love you and are keeping you in our prayers, Dan and Ginny
