Obituary of Eva M. Crocker
Eva M. Crocker, 74 of Titusville, passed away Sunday morning October 14, 2018 at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Eva was born on September 17, 1944 at Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Jane Caldwell Swanson. She was married to Donald E. Crocker who survives.
Eva had attended the Oil City schools. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at the former Sunset Manor Home in Titusville. She had also worked for Visiting Nurses of Crawford County and also as a visiting nurse for the Meadville Medical Center from where she retired.
Eva was a past member of the Titusville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and pogo games on the internet. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to the casinos, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Eva is survived by her husband of Titusville; four children, Melissa Hazlett and husband Jerry of Slippery Rock, Dana Swanson and wife Stacey of Auburn, CA, Shari Nelson and husband Douglas of Titusville, and Randy Crocker of Atlanta, GA; a step-daughter, Deborah Crocker of Titusville; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Swanson of Titusville; 24 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Smith of Cambridge Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Swanson; a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville today (Monday) from 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service there on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Rusnak of AseraCare Hospice officiating.
Interment will be in Troy Center Cemetery.
