Obituary of John H Kysor
Mr. John H. Kysor, 87, of Titusville, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Titusville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Akron, OH on May 19, 1931 to the late Otis and Hattie Holbert Kysor.
John was a veteran of the United States Army.
He married Naomi McCurdy on August 11, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2007.
John retired from the Army Corp. of Engineers in 1998. He was an engineer with them for forty-five years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a “jack of all trades”, and enjoyed doing handy work.
John is survived by a son, John A. Kysor and wife Sandra of Centerville; three granddaughters, Jamie May Musacchio and husband Jason of Buffalo, NY, Amber Kysor of Buffalo, NY, and Deborah Douglas and husband Christopher of Jonesport, Maine; six great granddaughters; a sister, Patsy Nichols of Corry; a brother, Thomas Kysor of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Kysor; three brothers, James, Darrell, and Malcolm Kysor; and a sister, Lillian “Fay” Lorenz.
Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Sunday, November 11 from 4 to 6 PM, and Monday, November 12 from 10 to 11 AM, at which time the funeral service will be held.
Inurnment will be in East Troy Cemetery.
