Condolences
Susan, Cheri and Mary Jane,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. Kenny was someone that made an impression that lasts a lifetime. You were so lucky to have him!
Don
I have so many memories of Kenny! Some are from my childhood when our parents were such close friends. I loved coming to your house and visiting all of you at the dam, seeing everyone at church. Your dad was always busy, friendly, and smiling and I always looked forward to our family visits. In later years, I have so appreciated his friendship and love for my parents and for me. When times weren't easy, Kenny and Harriet were always steadfast friends to my mom, my dad, and to Hal and me! The last time I saw him in person, I hugged him and told him that he was like a dad to me. He had trekked out to the cemetary with us on a freezing, snowy day and in spite of the advice against leaving the warm chapel, he insisted on being right there by the gravesite as they buried my dad. I will never forget that. His friendship was there right until the very end. I will miss Kenny Burt tremendously and my memories of him will live on! Prayers for Harriet, the girls, and the whole family! We love all of you! Hal and Becky
Sue, Cheri and MJ, Sorry for your loss. I have a picture of your parents when we had finished decorating the church float for the Oil Parade.
Sherry, Mary Jane and family:
Please accept our sincere sympathy is the loss of your father. It’s hard to let go of this generation of wisdom, knowledge and experiences. What a blessing to have so many, many years of memories. Please know you’re in our thoughts and prayers...
My condolences to you all and thinking back of many times in the younger years of camping with the Burt's at the Dam and Wesley Woods. I do recall spending time out in Kenny's garage, when Bruce (my Dad) needed something repaired. Kenny took care of it. My prayers are with you all during this time.
