Obituary of Catherine Ann Teisher

Mrs. Catherine Ann Teisher, 71, formerly of Sunbury, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her residence in Titusville.

               She was born in Sunbury, PA on August 26, 1947 to the late Donald and Katherine Donaghue Houtz.

               Catherine married Mr. John C. Teisher on April 14, 1974.  He preceded her in death on August 26, 2016.

               She was the director of the Haven Ministries homeless shelter in Sunbury, PA for forty years.

               Catherine was an avid reader.

               She is survived by three children, Johnathan Teisher and wife Katie, Jessica Teisher, both of Colorado Springs, CO, and Eben Teisher of Pittsburgh; and three brothers, Donald, William, and James Houtz.

               No public services will be observed at this time.

               Memorial contributions can be made to St. James Episcopal Memorial Church, 112 E. Main St., Titusville, PA, specifically donated to the soup kitchen.
