Obituary of Larry A Kellogg

Mr. Larry A. Kellogg, 67, of 219 W. Third St. Pleasantville, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his residence.

               Larry was born on March 19, 1951 in Oil City to the late Philmore and Doris McClintock Kellogg.

               He attended Titusville schools and was a graduate Titusville High School class of 1969.

               He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War where he received the Bronze Star. He entered the service in 1970 and was honorably discharged in 1974 with the rank of Sergeant.

               Larry worked for Quaker State until 1995 and then for Charter Plastics starting in 1997 as a machine shop supervisor.

               He was a member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW.

               He enjoyed watching the Steelers and tailgating with his family. He liked nature walks and being outdoors and loved spending time with his family and friends.

               Larry is survived by his two children, Jason Kellogg of Cranberry Twp., and Serena Anderson and husband Jeremy of Oil City; four grandchildren Antigone and Cypriana Kellogg both of Harmonsburg, and Katie and Kelsey Anderson of Oil City;  seven brothers and sisters, Candy Bean and husband Randall of Enterprise, Koni Wheeling and husband Mark of Cherrytree, Rick Kellogg and wife Rhonda of South Carolina., Timothy Kellogg and wife Diane of Cherrytree, Robert Kellogg of Cherrytree, Norman “Rusty” Kellogg and wife Darla of Cherrytree, and Barry Kellogg and wife Lisa of Cherrytree; and numerous nieces and nephews.

               Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend a funeral service the next day from the funeral home at 2 PM with Tom Newcomb, officiating. Full military honors will be observed.

               Interment will be at Cherrytree Cemetery.
