Obituary of Kathleen E. Van Cise

Kathleen E. Van Cise, 87, formerly of Hydetown, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro,TN. 

            Kathleen was born on September 13, 1931 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Henderson Fratus.  She was married to Delbert Van Cise on Nov. 12, 1949 in Titusville.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1998.

            Kathleen was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy.  She was a member of the Titusville Free Methodist Church.  She enjoyed her flower gardens, especially her violets

            Kathleen is survived by four sons, Jerry Van Cise and wife Elaine of Durham, NC, Bruce Van Cise and wife Maria of Sandy Lake, Craig Van Cise and wife Lydia of Centerville, and Daryl Van Cise of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Linda Jackson and husband David of Erie, and Julie Wright and husband Richard of West Frankfort, IL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Michelle Jackson and Amanda Van Cise; four brothers; and one sister.

            No public calling hours will be observed.  Private services will be conducted for the family.

            Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.
