Obituary of Cynthia M. Armstrong
Mrs. Cynthia M. Armstrong, 79, formerly of 117 W. Hemlock St. Titusville, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Titusville.
Mrs. Armstrong was born on February 10, 1932 at Centerville, PA, a daughter of the late James and Sarah Clark Conner.
Mrs. Armstrong enjoyed going to yard sales and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by the following children; Cathy Armstrong and husband Wayne of Titusville, Linda Hanes and husband Wayne of Franklin, Pamella Hall of York, Dale Armstrong and wife Sherry of York, Gayle Kaster and companion Bob Baron of Titusville, Paul Armstrong and wife Brenda of Titusville, and Paula Cartney and fiancée Alan Anderson of Oil City; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; a brother, Albert Conner and wife Rose of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Conner and John McGauthiar; and three sisters, Imogene Shaw, Blanche Hrober, and Helen Knowlton.
No public calling hours will be observed. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Rootville Cemetery with Rev. Harlan Nefstead, pastor of the Wayland Baptist Church, officiating.
The family asks that memorials may be made to Asera Care Hospice 1600 Peninsula Dr. #14 Erie, PA 16505.
