Obituary of Hazel M. Nunemaker

Mrs. Hazel M. Nunemaker, 77, of Titusville passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019.

            Mrs. Nunemaker was born on October 28, 1941, in Corry to the late Frank H. and Susie Range Henton. She married John L. “Jack” Nunemaker on December 21, 1959, in Little Cooley. Mr. Nunemaker preceded her in death on April 21, 1995.

            Hazel was a homemaker and previously employed by Burch Farms of North East, as well as, Green Thumb through the Titusville Senior Center.

            She was a former member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958, VFW Auxiliary.

            Hazel enjoyed crocheting, camping, listening to music from her record collection, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

            Hazel is survived by 6 children, Sunday Barry of Meadville, Arthur Nunemaker and wife Jessica of Meadville, John Nunemaker and wife Barb of Titusville, Bessie Boyer and husband George of Centerville, Rose Daly of Meadville, Barbara Neely and husband Fred of Titusville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 7 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Bowles; a son-in-law: Willie Daley; 3 brothers, and a sister.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM.

            Interment will be in Neilltown Cemetery.
