Obituary of Paul R. Turover

Paul R. Turover, 67, of Titusville, passed away Thursday evening April 4, 2019 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

            Paul was born on August 10, 1951 at San Francisco, CA, a son of the late Gerald and Geraldine Geller Turover. 

            Paul was a veteran having served in the US Air Force.

            Paul resided in California for a number of years prior to coming to Titusville.  While in California, he worked for many years at Safeway.  He was last employed at AC Moore in Erie.

            Paul had a long history of being involved with the Boy Scouts of America, both in California and in Pennsylvania.  He was also a former member of the Centerville Lions Club.  He is a member of the Titusville Lodge No. 754 F & AM. 

            He enjoyed picture framing, word books, and shooting in his earlier years.

            He is survived by a daughter, Jo Turover of Arkansas;  a son, David Turover of California; two grandchildren, Kat and Cori Baldridge; a brother, Steven Turover and wife Patricia of Kentucky; a sister, Nancy Turover and husband Thomas Klee of Florida; his companion, Rita Niedbala of Titusville; and extended family here in Titusville, Beverly Baker and husband Rick and family, Tracy Jackson and family, Sylvia Wright and husband Scott and family, Jean Cochran, and Barb Antill and husband David.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday from 7 to 9 PM.  A masonic service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday evening at 6:30 PM with members of the Titusville Lodge No. 754 officiating.

            Interment will be in Union Cemetery.

            The family asks that memorials be made to any chapter of the Humane Society.
