Obituary of Cyril Arthur Paden
Cyril Arthur Paden, Jr., 62, of Grand Valley passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Cyril was born on October 16, 1956; in Titusville to the late Cyril A. and Marian Seeley Paden, Sr. He married Sarah Brown on July 9, 1977, in Sanford.
He was a graduate of Youngsville High School, class of 1975.
Cyril was formerly employed by Blair Corp. of Warren for 32 years and currently a machinist at Ellwood Forge in Irvine for the past 11 years.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed campfires, playing softball, attending his son Adam’s sporting events, and building his pond. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, Penguin and Pirate fan. He especially loved spending time and doing family activities with his wife, children, grandchildren and 7 grand-dogs.
Cyril is survived by his wife, Sarah of Grand Valley; his 3 children, Kristie James of Titusville, Bethany Evans and husband BJ of Guys Mills, Adam Paden and wife Tracie of Youngsville; 2 grandchildren, Tyler James and Heath Paden; a brother-in-law, Robin Brown of Grand Valley; sister-in-law, Lisa Lauffenburger and husband Leonard of Pittsfield; 5 sisters; a niece, Ashley Albright and husband Caleb of Warren; a nephew, Jacob Lauffenburger of Youngsville.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Truman and William Bingman; his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Evelyn Brown; and 2 brothers-in-law, Greg and Douglas Brown.
Friends may pay their respects to the family at the Grand Valley United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow conducted by Pastor Penny Helmbold and Rev. Chuck Riel.
Interment of ashes will be in Sanford Cemetery.
