Obituary of Frederick & Sandra Donor
Frederick W. and Sandra J. Peterson Donor of Shauberger Rd., Centerville both died on the morning of Thursday, April 11, 2019 in a house fire.
Fred, 72, was born in Titusville on April 27, 1946, to the late Merton and Charlotte Foltz Donor, while, Sandra, 74, was born in Titusville on April 19, 1944, to the late David and Martha Cornell Peterson. They were married on August 22, 1970, and renewed their vows on May 1, 1996. Their life together was full of love, laughter and family.
Fred was a 1964 graduate of Townville High School and Sandy a graduate of Titusville High School also in 1964.
He worked at Southall Hardware Store for many years and had various jobs throughout his retirement. She had a career as a nurse’s aide at Golden Living Centers in both Titusville and Meadville until her retirement.
Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening woodworking, bird watching and tending for his animals, while, Sandy enjoyed baking, gardening, her animals, watching movies, and card games. They especially loved raising their children and spending quality time with grandchildren, family and friends.
They are survived by two children, Theresa Lindquist and husband Christopher of Pleasantville, David M. Donor and wife Tiffany of Cochranton; three grandchildren, Paige Lindquist and fiancé Jericho Hartle of Erie, Sydney Lindquist of Pleasantville, Ridik Donor of Cochranton. Fred is survived by a brother, Denis Donor and wife Linda of Centerville; a sister, Kathy Daniel and her late husband Henry of Warner Robins, GA; a sister-in-law, Linda Anderson of Centerville. Sandy is survived by two brothers, John Peterson of Centerville, and Don Peterson and his late wife Carol of Titusville. Combined they are both survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by a brother, David B. Donor. Sandy was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Peterson; and a sister, Shirley Eisenhuth.
Friends may pay their respects to the family at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Cannistaci of the Centerville Methodist Church, officiating.
