Obituary of Jack D Bedow
Mr. Jack D. Bedow, 70, of 108 Beechwood Dr. Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 1:08 AM at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Jack was born in Titusville on January 19, 1949 to the late John and Gloria Endres Bedow.
He attended Titusville schools. Jack was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He entered the service on June 17, 1968 and was discharged on June 15, 1971.He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat.
Jack worked various jobs in both construction and manufacturing.
He was a member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW and the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion.
He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and being with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his daughter Marnie Roddy and husband Joe of Titusville; three grandsons, Alex, Joey, and Chad all of Titusville; two brothers, John Endres and wife Cassie of Erie, and Edward Bedow and wife Brenda of Grand Valley.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Lamey and Jeanne “Pix” Hathaway.
No public calling hours will be observed.
