Obituary of Stephen "Skinny" N. MacQuarrie

Mr. Stephen N. “Skinny” MacQuarrie, 65, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Titusville Area Hospital.

He was born in Dunkirk, NY on May 26, 1953 to the late Neil “Mac” and Frances Sloan MacQuarrie.

Stephen graduated from Titusville High School, class of 1971.

He married Rose Barker on July 18, 1981 in Titusville.

Stephen was life time self-employed with his business, MacQuarrie Construction.  He was currently employed at Hovis Auto Parts, and previously with Northwest Bus Services.

He was a member of the Cleo J. Ross American Legion Post 368 and the Moose Family Center 84.

Stephen enjoyed cutting firewood, going to camp, and making anything with concrete.  His granddaughters were the light of his life.  His family and friends were extremely important to him.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Rose MacQuarrie; daughter, Brandi Lytle and husband Pat; two sons, Kirby MacQuarrie, and Stevie MacQuarrie, all of Titusville; two granddaughters, Aubrey and Kaydence; two sisters, Ellen Warner and husband Roger of Titusville, and Paula Anderson and husband John of Hertford, NC; and a brother, John Carlson of Buffalo, NY.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
