Obituary of Karen Sue Slater

Karen Sue Slater, 49, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law: Robin and Harvey Sliker of Utica. She had resided with them for the past 22 years.

Karen was born on December 10, 1969, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Gwendolyn Field Slater.

She attended schools in Oil City and with ARC of Crawford County.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, listening to music, swimming, bowling and watching wrestling.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Vicki Finley and husband Robert of Titusville, Robin Sliker and husband Harvey of Utica; a brother, Thomas Slater of Cornwall, NY; a special aunt, Ruth Slater of Warwick, RI; a special cousin, Jean Shreffler of Pleasantville; and several additional nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Slater Huff.

No services are being observed.

Interment of ashes will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
