Obituary of Paul N. "Butch" Snyder

Mr. Paul N. “Butch” Snyder, Sr., 87, of Pleasantville, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Titusville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

               He was born in Titusville on May 17, 1932 to the late Frank A. and Waive See Snyder.

               Paul married Shirley Harvey on July 12, 1980.

               He worked at Trans Penn Wax Company for over forty years.

               Paul enjoyed woodworking, farming, and working.

               He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley of Pleasantville; six children, Sherry Brown and husband Tim of Centerville, Pat Proper and husband Clair of Centerville, Diana Sellen and husband Darel of Titusville, Paul N. Snyder, Jr. and wife Sue of Spartansburg, Pete Peterson and wife Kim of Cherrytree, and Cindy Peterson of Pleasantville; nine grandchildren, Chad Snyder and wife Megan of East Springfield, Ben Mallory and wife Jennifer of Cherrytree, Nathan Mallory of Pittsburgh, Dustin Sellen and wife Stephanie of Grand Valley, Devon Sellen and wife Stacy of Titusville, Steve Peterson and wife Terri of Tionesta, Tabitha Bean  of Titusville, Tonya Peterson of Oil City, and Stephanie Peterson and Scott Beck of Hydetown; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Rulin “Jeff” Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

               Paul was preceded in death by five sisters, Shirley Kabasinski, Josephine Bedow, Margaret Foote, Helen Smith, and Mary Hicks; and five brothers, Maryott, Edward, Merle, Stanley, and Frank Snyder.

               Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354 on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM, at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Janet Sill officiating.

               Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville.
