Obituary of Catherine C. Turner

Catherine C. Turner, 72, of Titusville, passed away Monday morning July 1, 2019 at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

            Catherine was born on Dec. 30, 1946 in Titusville, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn Emerson Antill.  She was married to Ned “Ben” Turner who preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2010.

            She was a graduate of Academy High School in Erie, class of 1964.

            Catherine had been employed at the former Queen Cutlery in Titusville and also at Smokers Outlet.

            Catherine enjoyed drawing, playing cards and crocheting.  She was a member of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion Auxiliary and of the Titusville Moose Family Center No. 84.

            She is survived by two sons, Ben Turner and wife Dawna of Eastaboga, AL, and Chad Turner of Titusville; step-children, Mark Turner, Melinda Bostaph, Ronda Kerr, and Janet Nachman; four grandchildren, Kaylee Turner, Elaina Turner, Danielle Gionti and husband Jimmy, and Josh Turner; numerous great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; four sisters, Barbara Schneider and husband Robert, Sheila Wood, Pam Antill and companion Dick Ricke, and Francie Reese and companion Steve Rainey, all of Titusville.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Ensle and Nancy Manno.

            No public calling hours or service will be conducted.
