Obituary of Evangeline Yvonne Warner
Mrs. Evangeline Yvonne Warner, 82, formerly of Dempseytown Gresham Rd. and 218 E. Bloss St. in Titusville died at 2:09 AM, Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Mrs. Warner was born on October 14, 1928 in Plumer to the late Clarence Dewey and Grace (Rodgers) Holden. She married Ralph C. Warner on September 2, 1949 in Breedtown. Mr. Warner preceded her in death on May 18, 1995.
She was a graduate of Oil City High School, class of 1946.
Mrs. Warner was formerly employed by Robinson’s Wallcoverings, Cross Creek Resort and after obtaining her nurse’s certificate she worked as a nurse’s aide in the homecare services for many Titusville families.
She was a member of the Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and the Pleasantville Senior Center.
Mrs. Warner enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, cooking and wintering in Lakeland, FL.
She is survived by seven children, Clinton Warner and wife Nancy of Meadville, James Warner and wife Lou Ellen of Waxhaw, NC, Roger Warner and wife Ellen of Titusville, Craig Warner and wife Sherry of Grove City, Gail Warner of Pittsburgh, Glenn Warner and wife Lorri of Pittsburgh, Timothy Warner of Titusville; twelve grandchildren, Shelly Ann Warner, Nicholas Warner, Anna Warner, Millicent Perez, Toby Warner, Kelly Warner, Pamela Warner, Amy Warner, Brook Snyder, John Warner, Stefan Warner, Becky DeMarco; six great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Terri Warner of Centerville; two sisters, B. Leota Warner of Titusville, Donna A. Ferringer of Union City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Warner was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Warner.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville today (Tuesday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the Titusville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Toby Warner her grandson and Pastor Leroy Learn of the church, officiating.
Interment will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery.
