Condolences
I can remember as a little boy growing up going into Quality Market with my dad Mike Averill and running into Bob. He always had a smile on his face I'll never forget. I send my condolences to his wife and family, my prayers are with you all.
Respectfully,
Adam Averill
Nancy, and the boys.....you are in our thoughts and prayers.
If there is one thing that I think of when I think of my cousin’s husband Bob, it is how much he laughed and seemed to enjoy life. It was especially true after he retired! Most recently, a few years ago, he (with Nancy’s help I am sure!!) made my wife and I.....and my two teenage children so welcome in their home.....and laughter abounded! (And as any parent knows, it is no easy task making teenagers laugh!). At that point it had been quite a few years since I had seen him....and he was the same happy guy I had remembered from all those summer vacation years of my youth!
I firmly believe that a person’s measure on this earth....once they pass....is the impact that they had on those around them in life. Making people laugh, smile, feel welcome, feel like “family”? That’s one helluva legacy. I have no doubt that in the afterlife, Bob is making those around him laugh!
Again Nancy, and to all those who will miss him, all our love, thoughts and prayers.
Nancy, Bill, Shirley and Michael,
A few lines to let you know that I will continue to think of you and pray for you in the days ahead. Bob was given a wonderful tribute today -- the service was HIM in every word that was spoken. AND we all will remember JOE H's remarks regarding golfing!!! Joe is a hoot!!!!!
Nancy, please call me at anytime to chat -- I treasure our years of friendship.
Love to all and safe travel to MO guys and Shirley.
With love and prayers,
Margaret
Nancy,
I am on the road and just read about Bob's passing. I first knew Bob from both doing work and shopping at Quality Markets.
I got to know both of you better from spending time with you on our Scuba Trips down south.
He always had a smile and something clever to say to make you laugh.
He will be missed greatly by everyone he touched.

Nancy,
We were so sorry to hear about Bob's passing, or Mr. Brown as I always liked to call him.
He was such a fun loving guy, and always had a smile on his face.
I always enjoyed hearing about your adventures together.
The two of you were an amazing couple, and I admired the love you had for each other.
I still remember the time you guys took our daughter to your place for hot chocolate after the Santa Claus parade.
She is now 22, but still remembers that time.
May you treasure and look back on your memories and adventures with Bob to help get you through the rough times.
Mr. Brown will truly be missed.
Our thoughts are with you,
Pam Studnicki-Vandewater, Cam and Kaitlin

Jim and I are saddened to hear of Bob's death. Our thoughts are with you and the family in this time of need.
Sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was my boss and friend beginning at the Quality back in the middle 60's. We all loved working with Bob, playing practical jokes and earning a steady paycheck. He made work fun. We looked forward to going to work before School unloading trucks, stocking shelves and carrying customers groceries. The crew was lead by Bob, with Cubby McDonald, Rich Heliker, Gene Bergland. RIP my friend.
With heavy hearts, we join you in your tribute to Bob. I will always remember his ready smile and zest for life. Blessings to Nancy and the boys in this time of healing.
