Vicki and Norm,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.
I remember her as a gracious woman.
As silly as it sounds, every time I make egg salad sandwiches, I think of her and your grandmother.
I had been invited to a birthday party for Vicki and egg salad sandwiches were served as part of the refreshments. Sure, I had them before, but these were very special! The bread was not just plain old white bread! There were pastel colors and cut in shapes! I was so impressed and some 50 plus years later, I still remember that.
