Obituary of Cory Emily Wise

                Mrs. Cory Wise, 92, of Matthews, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Royal Park Rehab & Nursing Center in Williams, NC.

                She was born in Pithole, PA on July 11, 1927 to the late Elmer and Hattie Fox Sparks.

                Cory graduated from Colestock High School, class of 1944.

                She worked at the Bashline Hospital/Nursing Home in Titusville, North Warren Home in Warren, and AO Smith in Picqua, OH.

                Cory enjoyed traveling, painting, and photography.  She is a published poet and writer.

                She is survived by her husband, Allan Wise of Williamsport, PA; a son, Paul Turner and wife Christina of Matthews, NC; a granddaughter, Erin Carson and husband George of Charlotte, NC; and two great grandchildren, Hadley and Leo Carson. 

                Cory was preceded in death by all ten of her siblings, Phoebe Allen, Ollie Sporer, Jane Behrens, Ruth Zahner, Russell, Emmett, George, William, John, and Warrren Sparks.

                Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville.
