Obituary of Suzanne R. Walls

Mrs. Suzanne R. “Sue” Dowling Walls, 78, of Titusville passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She had been a resident there for the past year. Sue was born on September 11, 1941, in Titusville to the late Frank T. and Marian Holtz Weber. She was a graduate of Titusville High School. Sue was an owner and operator of the former Dowling Hotel in Titusville for 22 years. She enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, and traveling. She especially loved being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sue is survived by her daughter, Brandi Hannah and husband Ron of Tidioute; 3 grandchildren, Tori S. Prenatt and companion George Willis Mead III of Youngsville, Kelsee D. Wescoat and husband Andy of Hydetown, Mary E. Hawk of Titusville; 5 great-grandchildren, Kylie L. Hillard, George Willis Mead IV, Elliott D. Mead all of Youngsville, McKynlee and Nolyan Wescoat of Hydetown; a brother, James Weber of Florida; a sister-in-law, Pam Holcomb and husband Bob of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant I. Walls; a daughter, Kara “Pete” Dowling: 2 brothers, Richard and Daniel Weber; and 2 sisters, Mary Jane Nosker and Nancy McManigle.
