Thinking of Kay always did and always will make me happy! Her contagious laughter and glowing smile could bring light to even the darkest moments. To find yourself in her presence was always to bask in the sun. Even the total stranger felt the warmth of her welcoming spirit.
Kay was one of the most positive people I have ever known, and I greatly admired her for that trait. She did not wait for a light to appear at the end of a dark tunnel; she strode bravely through the darkness, and lit the light herself. She understood that a positive person does not refuse to recognize life's negatives, but refuses to dwell on them. She was a positive person because she always looked for the best outcomes even in the midst of the worst circumstances. She made the most of the best and the least of the worst.
We loved Kay for all that she was, but especially for her splendid display of this very basic life-giving truth: Attitude is Everything!
We will miss her. Her family will miss her. Our community will miss her. Her place is empty. So to those who knew her best and loved her most, we offer our most heartfelt sympathy.
With all our love,
Barry and Lynn Cressman
