Obituary of Roxanne L. Smith

Roxanne L. Smith, 50, of New Kensington, PA, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her residence. A daughter of Sharon Gooch West and the late William West, Roxanne was born in Alum Ridge, VA on January 14, 1970. Roxanne was a graduate of Great Falls High School in Great Falls, MT. She was currently employed at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. She had previously been employed at the Meadville Medical Center and with Northwest Physicians. Roxanne loved nature and spent much of her time outside walking trails, gardening and enjoying the sun. She was a humanitarian at heart and deeply enjoyed helping others. She also had a passion for food and loved cooking a variety of dishes. She is survived by her mother, Sharon West, of Heber, UT; two children; Kyle Smith and wife Leslie of Erie and Ashley Smith and fiancé Morgan Schenberg of Saegertown; four sisters, Carolynn Frisbee of Great Falls, MT, Corinda Parker and husband Richard of Gonzales, LA, Willa Motley and husband Joe of Heber, UT, and Angela Outten of Great Falls, MT; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. No public calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
