I just knew you from your sweet Comments on Youtube/Facebook but that doesn't matter. We all saw you as "Mother" of our wonderful Nightwish Family and you were a Sunlight everytime! Hope you are on a better place now, listin to Nightwish and waiting for us all, to join you again!
You maybe gone but not forgotten! Rest in peace, Sunshine!
my deepest condolences, first and foremost, to the family of our beloved Ann.
she was very much a beautiful, kind soul full of warmth and love, which radiated outwards, even online.
I met Ann via YouTube, through the band, Nightwish. I only regret that we never had the change to meet in real life.
Among the community, we fans are often referred to as the "Nightwish Army." Ann was very special to all of us, and we lovingly dubbed her "Nightwish Momma"
I connected with Ann easily, and looked up to her. She was like a second mom to me (and I'm sure to many others), and it is incredibly difficult to learn of her passing.
She often reminded me of my own Late mother, with her love of music, kindness, and her caring nature.
She never spoke unkindly of/to anyone, and was always uplifting and cheering on others who crossed her path.
Heaven has gained another beautiful angel.
"Farewell - no words to say
beside the cross on your grave
and those forever burning candles.
Needed elsewhere
to remind us of the shortness of our time.
Tears laid for them.
Tears of love, tears of fear-
Bury my dreams, dig up my sorrows,
Oh, Lord why
the angels fall first "
-Nightwish (Angels Fall First)
May she Rest Calm and live on in our hearts and memories.
The mother of Nightwish fans will be remembered and NOT forgotten.. She will look down on us from heaven for sure and smile. I wish the family a lot of strength.. You will be missed.. <3
I didn't know Ann personally, but I knew of her from Youtube. She was the Mother of Nightwish Army. She was so kind, warm and welcoming to old fans and new. She was such a huge part of the NW community, that it's going to be tough without her. Love and prayers to this beautiful soul, to this ocean soul.
Thank you Ann for the beautiful friendship we had, I will never forget the wonderful conversations we had, we laughed and we cried, we talked about everything. I will miss your messages, your care and your wisdom. I will deeply miss you.
My sincerest condolences to Ann's family and friends.
Deepest condolences to Ann's family, you will be greatly missed Ann ! <3
My deepest condolences, for Ann's family. Every time I hear Song of Myself. It is now tribute to Ann Waychoff. May You Rest In Peace Ann! You are greatly missed, never ever forgotten!
When her father passed away few months ago, one thing I said to her was, "Don't be sad they're gone, be happy that they were". Good line for myself too to follow now. It's not going to be easy and I will miss her, but to know that she is now in a better place without pain and worries gives me a lot of peace. Even it was only in the internet, I am thankful that I got the chance to know her and have those great long conversations with her about music and ups and downs in life and just about everything. She always had time to listen what was on my mind and I hope that I was able to be "a shoulder" for her too when she was having a hard time. The more I write, the more I feel that nothing I say can never do justice for her and what she really meant to us all. She was so caring and lovely person and I will always remember her.
Rest in peace my dear friend and thank you so much for being there.
My deepest condolences to her family
Ann was such a shining light in our internet community, always kind, helpful and supportive. Even though we never met outside of internet, I will miss her gentle touch in the comment fields of Youtube. She was known as the Mother of the Nightwish Army and she will be sorely missed by us all.
Condolences from a fellow Nightwish fan in Sweden.
My deepest condolences to Ann's beloved ones.
Known as "the Nightwish Mom" she touched the souls of many people without ever meeting them in person. Her kind words and her way to introduce Nightwish to new fans (also called "the Ann Waychoff speech") will always be remembered by us.
May her loved ones find strength in this sad times.
Know that there is a friend at the other side of the world shedding tears about dear Ann - A lovely person that touched so many in her very own way.
Prayers to all the family! The Carone family were my neighbors on Brook St and us kids played and laughed together. Jim, Sadie, and all the kids were very special to me and I am saddened by Ann's passing. RIP Ann you will be missed by many!
Bless you Ann, you touched so many hearts. You will be greatly missed by the Nightwish community in the U.K. We’ve lost a wonderful Nightwish mom and heaven has gained an angel.

what a wonderful woman we all lost.thinking of her sisters and brothers and extended family
My condolences. Ann was known as the Nightwish Mom, and that is how I first came to know her. She was so positive and accepting, always so willing to explain the nuances of the music she loved to others. Her gentle light in the community will be missed deeply.
My sincere condolences to her friends and family!
I did not get to know Ann, only had a short conversation with her in the comments section of a Nightwish reaction. But I saw the impact she had and whenever I saw her post (which was often) it was always very friendly, welcoming and informative at the same time. Rest in peace Ann! Greetings and condolences from Germany!
First my condolences to Ann's family and loved ones. I only met Ann online and I was always looking or for her lovely comments about a band that she loved called Nightwish. She was such a kind woman and she struck most of us in the Nightwish army with her thoughtful and well phrased comments.
My condolences to the friends and family of such a wonderful, pleasant and spirited woman. Her passing will affect all belonging to the musical community we shared, and she will be deeply missed. Rest well Ann.
Im so sorry for the loss of a beautiful lady. She was kind, caring, beautiful inside and out. She was a good friend and a wonderful person. I send thoughts and prayers to her family. Heaven needed another angel.
Ann and I bonded online both over our mutual love of the Finnish band Nightwish, as well as the fact that we had both lived in, and knew the same PA-NJ area, having lived only a short drive apart. She was so sweet and kind. I will miss her terribly. My condolences to her family and friends.
My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones. Although I only know one of your family members, i wanted to take the time to say how thankful I am to have your daughter as a friend. I can only imagine that all her love and compassion come from you. Andrea you're in my thoughts ❤
Dear Ann, Though none of us ever met you in person, the entire metal music community will mourn your loss for quite some time. We loved your character and personality as you loved all of us. I can only add a quote that, perhaps, only you would understand: "Oh Lord why; Do Angels Fall First?" (Tuomas Holopainen, Nightwish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psX6JDOms3c) ---A fellow Nightwisher, Chris Tomashofski
Such a wonderful person. Sending my condolences and thinking of all of the family.
Andrea and Zak: My deepest condolences to you and your extended family. I am so sorry for the loss and grief all of you are experiencing. I am holding you close in my thoughts and prayers.
