Obituary of Patricia Ann Elderkin

Mrs. Patricia Ann Elderkin, 79, of 419 E. Main St., Titusville died at 10:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Country Acres Personal Care Home. Mrs. Elderkin was born on October 6, 1931 in Titusville to the late Robert M. and Amy Davison Buchan. She married Roy E. Elderkin on October 8, 1947 at the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Elderkin preceded her in death on August 22, 1999 and they will be “Together Again Forever.” She attended Titusville schools. Mrs. Elderkin was a sustaining member of the Titusville Service League. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Snow and her husband Gary of Centerville, Cindy Linsted and her husband James of Livonia, MI; a son, David Elderkin and his wife Patsy of Concord, NH; six grandchildren, Amy Klingler and companion Ray Quesnel of Vermont, Jesse Elderkin and wife Sierra of Plymouth, NH, Adam Snow of Erie, Ryan Snow and wife Denise of Meadville, Melissa Polteraitis and husband Rimas of Lavonia, MI, Brianna Kulacki and husband Konrad of Ann Arbor, MI; three great grandchildren, Connor Klingler, Gabe Polteraitis, Tyler Snow; a brother, Karl Lind and wife Sandy of Jamestown; brother-in-law, Gary O’Hare and wife Joan of Sheffield; several nieces, nephews, & friends; especially her friend Mae who she loved to go shopping with. She also loved her little four legged friends. Mrs. Elderkin was preceded in death by a sister, Jenny DeLong who recently passed away on June 21; a step-father, Edward Lind; and a sister-in-law, Fae O’Hare Rodgers. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Friday from Noon to 3:00 PM with the service to follow conducted by Pastor Gary Kinnear of the Breedtown Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford Co. 310 N. Monroe St., Titusville, PA 16354.
