Condolences
I would like the family to know how sorry I am for the passing of Robert/Bob P. Having grown up in Titusville and being the same age as Bob, he and I were together in school starting from first grade on the Heights and for every year school after that including home room, chorus, football, and the rest until we graduated THS in 1969. Bob was a good looking kid, growing into a better looking man. As he aged he became charismatic, seemingly self assured, and certainly his own man. Still Bob had the personality to test, to ignore or strike out against, as well as to share himself and be kind. We all pass through phases as we attempt to adjust to whom we are and how we are able to survive as life has its way with us. As a kid Bob rarely shared his private life with me and kept that to himself. In that, I hope that he was able to work through some initial sadness or disappointment.
For a while we were friends and I value that time together. I recognize Robert Pierce as one of the people who helped defined my experiences and was an early partner and witness to the men that we have become.
My best to the family,
Craig Curtis
