Condolences
Dear Peg and family,
I am so sad to see the passing of Burt. He was such a great asset on the Credit Union's Board of Directors. I will never forget his sense of humor and his never-failing ability to listen and advise me when making difficult decisions. I could always count on him to be available for whatever was needed. Above all, I considered him to be a good friend. I have thought of him many times since I retired from the Credit Union 7 years ago.
Burt, Tim, Candy and Mrs.Franke, my sincere condolences. I didnt ever meet Mr. Franke, but always heard nothing but good about him.
You're in my prayers,
Mark Lavery

Peg and Family:
I can’t begin to express my heartfelt condolences to your family after hearing about Burt’s recent passing. It has a privilege to serve with him on the Credit Union’s board. I learned so much from his wisdom and guidance. I was so honored when he nominated me for board vice president, as it was a position he held for many years. I felt it was a true vote of confidence from him and I still hold that title with pride. Few men can list his many accomplishments yet he was very humble about those special moments in his life. He will be missed by all who knew him as a steel worker, fireman, businessman, veteran, family man and community minded citizen.
I Feel your loss...we may know our Man is ailing, but the final hours are never forgotten. Take time to grieve ....then remember often the good times that will bring a smile to your heart
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. He was a wonderful neighbor. We enjoyed seeing him and Peg walking by our house holding hands. He will be missed
My sympathy to you, Peg and Family. Burt was a wonderful man, which you already know. He was a caring man to many, especially in his service to the Cyclops Credit Union as a board member. The name kept changing, but Burt continued to be the genuine gentleman. The memories of you, Peg and Burt dancing at all the special events at the former CAC are so vivid to me. God chose a great man to be in his kingdom. RIP Burt and God bless the family he has left to share memories.
