Hi. My heart grieves with you at this sad time. Bob was a very dear friend for many many years as well as a coworker at Cytemp Steel. Please know that although I cannot attend the wake or funeral service, Bob will remain in my deepest thoughts. I can't even begin to express the sadness on my heart for it is so deep. May God bring you all comfort, and may peace be with you all.
Although I was a “short timer” at CYTEMP compared to Bob’s three decades of service, our paths crossed when I would need something for the audit department where I worked. When I made a visit to the Supply Room, his friendly smile and “What can I get for you, today? ” were his standard greeting. We were both Lions members so would catch up on events from our respective clubs and he always seemed to be preparing for a Pleasantville dinner of some sort with Tom at the Candlelight. He may not have had a lot of family but his friends’ outnumbered what many would have in attendance at an annual reunion. He will be missed by all that knew him form work, his business or his friendship.
