Anne and family, We are sorry for your loss. We are not sorry for Bob, because he is experiencing no more pain or sickness and having a party in heaven. Because of his deep love and commitment to his Saviour Jesus Christ, he is now with Him in glory. Although I know how much you must miss him, isn’t it wonderful to know that Jesus promised that if we follow Him, we would be with Him and our loved ones in heaven when we leave this earthly body.
We have been blessed to have known Bob (and you as well Anne). We all met at the Light and Life Park in Lakeland, Florida. We had such fun together when we would go on our triple dates in Bob’s truck and Anne, you would sit on the console. We sure had a lot of laughs in the times we had together. We were so glad that you folks even came to Canada. We even had some boat tours in Florida, and in Canada. We even got to Pennsylvania a few times and had more good times together.
The bond that we shared was the love of Jesus that lives in each of us. We look forward to an eternity with you all. If we had that much fun together on earth, imagine what joy we will have soon.
Bob and Dennis were kindred spirits and while they let on they didn’t know, I think they were aware of how us girls tried to gesture or hand signal each other when playing Sequence and wanted to beat them so much...lol.
I have put a few photos on the obituary page of all of us, you folks, Carole and Larry Stanley, and Dennis and I. The picture of you two walking on the path together, hand in hand, represents always together, always in love and on life’s journey as one. You will meet again.
You are all in our hearts and prayers. We thank the Lord for the privilege of being counted as your friends and for the beautiful times, talks, laughs and even tears we shared. May the Lord wrap His arms of comfort around you all and carry you through these difficult days of missing Bob.
