I've known Brenda since I was a teenager, we lived next to each other on spruce Street... We really didn't hang out then but we met again working at the hospital and became friends quickly. We went to the movies together and of course shared the most important thing popcorn with extra butter. We even put some on Jed's porch one day. I so much enjoyed dancing with Brenda at the Union parties and Christmas party.. I can just see her swaying her hips and waving her hands in front of herself and laughing and laughing!!! Of course after she applied fresh lipstick hahah... We also played cards together for more than 10 years maybe 15.... she knew all the rules and was a stickler for them. I and all her other friends will miss her so so very much... I love you Brenda and I miss you I know you're in heaven with your sister and your mom... And if you see Alex please give him a hug for me.

Brenda was a dear, kind woman. She will be missed by all. Her passing is so tragic and unexpected.

WOW! I couldn't believe Brenda's passing when I opened Garrett's website. Brenda and I go way back to when she was in high school. She was fun loving and always a laugh. I was a cafeteria worker with her aunt Doris Seeley. We had so much fun when Brenda came through the lunch line -- always cheerful. Then as years past, I would see Brenda at the hospital, doing her excellent best at her job. And the best thought, we both were/are members of the VFW Auxiliary -- one day when we were signing up for the daily drawing, for some reason I needed a quarter -- Brenda said, "I will give you a quarter." Forever in a day, that was our by-line jingle to each other. "DO YOU HAVE A QUARTER?" What memories for all of us that knew Brenda. RIP Brenda. Sorry that God took you, especially during this pandemic. Love to the family.
