Dear Kit, Jenny, Marla, and Nova... I'm so saddened to hear of the loss of your husband and father. Sending you all virtual hugs during this difficult time.
Nova, Marla, and Jen, I have so many memories of your dad over the years. What strikes me as remarkable is not one of those memories involve your dad ever being mad. Like many people, I remember his consistent kindness, his ability to always have a great time, our entertaining conversations, and his love of horseshoes and bowling. Most importantly, I will remember him for his constant devotion to his family. Kit, what an outstanding man you chose to be your husband and the father of your children! I was so lucky to know him! My prayers are with all of you!
Dear Kit and family,
You have my deepest sympathy for your great loss of David.
I pray your wonderful memories will give you comfort.
We played together as children; Hugh and Sophie were friends with my parents, Bud and Betty KInkade. We have good memories of those days so long ago, All the Sopher family was fun loving, kind, and great people to be around, and very generous to all.

Kit and family,
So many good times at the bowling alley when our 3 sons played. We send our heart felt sympathy to you all. Your husband/dad will be missed by many. The memories will remain always in your heart. God bless all of you and give you strength and comfort each day.
Marla & Family, You have my deepest sympathy. I did not know your Dad but he certainly sounded like an amazing man! You are all in my thoughts & prayers & may he R.I.P.
Well, my friends - we all know how much your dad and husband meant to you. He was very supportive of your lives of sports, family time and going the distance. He and your mother attended Christopher & Stephanie's wedding. They really had a good time at the reception, then stayed over for the picnic the next day. Your dad fit right in with Stephanie's family--NASCAR fans, bowling, horseshoes, etc. Then they brought items back to Titusville as they had a van and most everyone from Titusville had small cars that didn't hold much outside the regular luggage. That is one story I won't forget as they both had such a great time and meant a lot to me, for them to be with us on the special day. I could go on, with times I spent with your family at graduation parties, weddings and receptions. Always a fun time and pleased to be included in all the events. I pray that with all the great memories you have of your dad and husband, they will bring you comfort for many days in the future. AND the great pictures you have in your phone albums -- so wonderful. May God be with you as you move forward in your lives. I am here for you!! God's blessings.
My heart felt sympathy to the family. Dave was a friend thru the Franklin Horseshoe Club. His love for and devotion to the club and it's members was obvious. No one worked harder or was more committed to the success of the club. It will be extremely difficult if not impossible for the club to continue without his guidance. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Marla, you and your family are in my prayers. Although I did not know your father, I'm sure he was quite a guy just from knowing you and J.J. You are one of the strongest and hardworking people I know and I'm sure he had something to do with that. May God comfort you and your family during this time.
