Obituary of Sandra W. Besanson

Sandra W. Besanson, 82, of Titusville, passed away Saturday morning February 20, 2021 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

            Sandra was born on June 8, 1938 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Waunita Hamilton Prody.  She was married to Kenneth Besanson who preceded her in death.

            Sandra enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and playing horseshoes.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

            She is survived by a son, Kenneth Besanson and wife JoAnn of Titusville; a daughter, Christine Grubb and husband Jim of Streetsboro, OH; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Prody and wife Beverly of Wattsburg and Richard Prody and wife Betty of Florida; a sister, Carol Wright of Hydetown; a brother-in-law, Allen Ben Cochran of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Prody; two brothers, Robert and Thomas Prody; and five sisters, Beatrice Barker, Jacqueline Kinney, Beverly Cochran, Roberta Prody and Shirley Barker.

            No public services will be observed.

            The family asks that memorials be made to any chapter of the American Cancer Society.
