I was a student in Erding Germany, Gene was the Principal and teacher there. A small community on a German Air Force base, it was great times and Gene was more like a friend and guidance consular . I had a chance to visit him a few years back, and he told me about his earlier life and how he became a teacher for military dependent schools. An interesting person, very civil and who threw the best parties. He knew how to live. Thanks Gene
